Focus on keywords with decent volume (100+/mo) and low difficulty (under 30).

For each target keyword, use Claude to create a detailed content brief: outline, headings, questions to answer, internal links to include, and suggested word count. Feed it the top 3 ranking articles and ask it to identify what they all cover (table stakes) and what they miss (your opportunity). This replaces a $500 content strategist.

Use Claude to draft articles from your briefs, but always add your own expertise, examples, and opinions. Google can detect pure AI slop — what it can't detect is AI-assisted content with real human insight. Add original data, screenshots, or case studies. Use Surfer SEO or Clearscope to check your on-page optimization if you want to go the extra mile.

Once you've nailed your template, use AI to generate variations at scale — city pages, comparison pages, glossary terms. Build a spreadsheet with your variables, use Claude's API or a script to generate unique content for each page, then publish via your CMS. This is how sites go from 50 pages to 500. But only do this after you've proven the template works with a manual batch first.
